Freedom Wheels Rentals
Freedom Wheels Rentals is located at Nerang on Queensland's Gold Coast's, a two hour scenic drive from Noosa. They offer a raised roof wheelchair accessible Toyota Hi-Ace van with air conditioning, power steering and brakes and equipped with a rear entry (RICON) hydraulic lift and powered side step.
Service facilities

- Flexible seating for one wheelchair passenger and six other passengers OR 2 people using wheelchairs/scooters and 4 other passengers (depending on size of scooter)
- Power side step to ease access for people with limited mobility
- Windows in roof raised for better views
- City directories, road maps and free access to Accessible Travel Guidebook Lending Library is provided
- Child and booster seats are available free of charge as a safety feature for our younger customers (can be mounted to face the front or the back)
- Guide dogs and other registered assistance dogs are welcome
- Free local transfers within certain areas
Hire restrictions
- Vehicle is not set up for self-drive by people in wheelchairs, as they are not suitable for fitting of hand controls
- Drivers must be 25 years and older due to insurance criteria (and must present a valid driver's license from their own country)
- Licenses not in English should be accompanied by an international driver's permit or a certified English translation
- Vehicle can only be used on roads suitable for two wheel drive vehicles
- Vehicle and office are smoke free for the health of all
Optional extras
- Vehicle delivery and collection can be arranged for a specified location (including airport transfers) at commencement or completion of hire
- VIP CDW insurance cover available on request (reduces excess to AU $100 (from AU $750)

Rental information
Vehicle hire is available on an hourly, daily and contract bases.
Rates
From AU $85 a day to AU $98 a day depending on duration of hire, plus a refundable security deposit of AU $300 (or signed credit card imprint).

Cancellation policy
Cancellation of reservations more than 30 days prior to reservation date will receive a full refund of the reservation deposit. Within 30 days of rental departure, 50% of your deposit will be refunded. If notice is seven days or less, deposits are not refundable.
