Getabout Buggy  Beach Wheelchair

• We designed the Getabout Buggy to be a simple, effective way to get our daughter onto the Beach.
• Whereas the wheelchair had laterals, a pommel and other aids, we could find no beach wheelchairs with that level of flexibility, so we made one.
• Starting at $1495, the Getabout Buggy has real balloon wheels to go on soft sand, an adjustable backrest and comes apart for easy transport.
• But for many, the most important thing is that it comes with the ability to have laterals, hip guides, a pommel, and even adjustable footrests added to ensure a safe and comfortable fit.
• It is available in 2 sizes Junior (up to 1.5m tall people) and adult up to 2m tall. 
• We also have the Capsule, which reduces a Junior down for smaller children, and for the junior, an adaption kit that converts it for use in parks etc.
• We can make custom adaptions should they be needed as we make them ourselves and will happily work with an OT or other specialist to ensure the best outcome.
• We can currently supply for Christmas, and many find that it can be accommodated in their NDIS plans if you are Plan Managed or Self-Managed.
