The Max Mobility Smart Drive Wheelchair Power Assist device is exclusively intended to provide auxiliary power to manual wheelchairs to reduce the pushing power needed by their users, including paediatrics, with a user weight of 30 to 331 lbs.
It is intended to be used by users capable of operating and manoeuvring a powered and manual wheelchair, ultimately empowering them through enhanced mobility.
It is also strongly recommended that it be used on manual wheelchairs that meet the "Wheelchair Compatibility" dimensions.
